sketch dump, week three, 11/2008

It's been a few weeks since my last dump, but I finally found some time to play around in the 'skine. I've been in a simple mood, as far as doing art lately. Maybe it's because I've been so busy with work. To quote the late, great Jim Henson, "Simple is good." Looking at these faces, who could you most identify with this week? Hopefully none of the above!

steve,

your go flying turtle banner is missing some letters!

Thanks Thereza! Take your time!

Slinky, actually, it depends on what computer you use - here, where I am the letters are fine. It's a stretch blog format. Still, I need to try something different.

Looks good on my Mac. It depends on how you have your screen configured.

the addams family, the next generation?! I spotted lurch, and cousin it with a haircut.

your banner looks okay from here but it could be the title is aligned centrally while the background is aligned to the left, so when the screen is narrowed the title slides off the right hand side! I reckon the solution is to combine the title with the background image, or align them both the same.

Haha! Yes Ian, you're right. I think what I'll do is get a screen shot of the title properly aligned then set it up again. Thanks as always for the good advise and suggestions.

These are REALLY FUN! I like them all. I THINK my favorite is the last one. That ones needs a story!

Thanks Jack and Mary!

Mary, he actually does have a story, and is the only one based on an actual person- a great musician named Richard D. James, aka Aphex Twin.
